The “Hot Ticket” This Fall Is The Unpredictable Checkered Print
Coors Light - No one does it like Akira. “The Last Dimension”, 12th Annual fall fashion was a hit. The event was held at Grossinger City Autoplex followed by an after party at Japonais located in Downtown Chicago.
Guests were treated to tasteful samples catered by local restaurants and an unforgettable Akira pop up shop debuting clothing items that are not in the Akira stores yet. The fashionistas shopped until the racks were emptied!
The standard blacks, grays, creams, winter green and checkered print palettes were the “Hot Ticket” for male fashion and just what spectators needed to see for the fall fashions. The new black for women’s fashion this fall – “Pink”, soft enough for winter and bright enough for fall. It was to my great surprise, the waffle fabric being transformed into a “must have” skirt and full length dress to make a statement this holiday. I promise you will not be disappointed with this whimsical purchase.
The show was hosted by James Maslow from “Dancing With The Stars” &” Big Time Rush”, co-anchor of ABC7 News, Judy Hsu and Marco Foster, Philanthropist and advocate for One Hope United, ABTA, BIAI, and Founder of Chicago Models.
PAWS was the charity of choice this year. PAWS Chicago is the no-kill humane organization focused on solutions to end the killing of homeless pets. Kudos to all participants in making the show a total success and creating an unforgettable pop-up shop!
