West African Glam Comes To America

St. Frimpong Collection 2014 - One designer, giving us three collections of pure luxurious looks, left you feeling empowered, addicted and wanting more. Rose Mandel, Event Producer and Show Director of Mandel Productions produced a robust formulated Fashion Show.

St. Frimpong Fashion Show was awe-inspiring. Eugene Frimpong presented his 2014 seasonal collections at the Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago. A native Ghanaian inspired a full house of attendees with his collection displaying a well-rounded array of various prints, textures, and leather inspired variations. Giving the audience sexy classical, alluring vigorous 40’s look fused with drop dead hot West African glam.

This wonderful display of fashion and smooth running production captivated the audience with the amazing assistance of production teams and event sponsors Neuma, Affinage, Elite Salon Concepts and Lip FIXX, DJ Laura Bee, Siamonto Etian, Soundz AVL. Bring alive and contributing the finishing touches to the overall looks before hitting runway, Artistic Beauty/Makeup Director, Nicole Richardson from Flawless Beauty and makeup artistry team, Artistic Hair Director, Jennifer Simonis from Custom Hair Lounge’s creative styling squad, Stylist Dutch, Menswear stylist, Malachi Artese and Michelle Schaps, Mixxi G Jewelry. Managing a big production is not easy and making sure all the little things are accounted for and handled in conjunction with managing a production team takes that special person, Adel Shaw with, Spoil Me Salon & Spa, Backstage Manager.

Eugene Frimpong received his bachelor's degree in fashion design from the International Academy of Design and Technology - Chicago.
