Beauty, Face & Body Show Powered by Chicago Cosmetologists

Midwest 2014 - An estimated 60,000 beauty salon professionals attended this year’s 2014, American Beauty Show (ABS) and Face and Body Midwest Show. The American Beauty Show is owned and produced by Cosmetologist Chicago, one of the nation’s largest associations of salon professionals. The McCormick Convention Center provided over 165 square footage of space to display a wall-to-wall of beauty product and services for well over 300 business owners and exhibitors.

This year’s show provided soaring energy and kaleidoscopic displays to gravitate your attention, along with accomplishing successfully, satisfying “the crave” beauty professionals traveling to gaze and take in from all over the country. The purpose of attending; to learn more about the latest in products, services and techniques, how to better serve clients and much more. Free classes were available to all professionals attending to receive certified education units (CEU’s), giving no excuses to those needing to update their licenses and sharpening their business.

Kicking off an entirely different vibe with relaxing aromatherapy scented fragrances– Face and Body Midwest Show, directly across the way, where skin and body professionals co-mingle more intimately. Sharing inspirational presentations, the latest advanced education from eyebrow contouring, make up, body waxing and massaging to customize anti-aging facial is what takes place for skin specialist and body therapists. Engaging in an intimate setting of one-on-one, gave the spa appeal needed to promote energetic shopping and sampling of services.

A host of celebrity and platform artist icons packed the house, sharing their signature techniques and know how’s on products and services, cutting, coloring techniques, facial, makeup application and more. Among those heavy hitters presenting on display were Nick Irwin, Sam Villa, Martin Parsons, Leonard Rocco and Terry Dougherty, JoElle Lee, Lydia Sarfati, Terri Wojak, and Stephanie Laynes just to name a few . All guest speakers who graciously attended and doing what the all love to do, and that is, successfully challenging ones creativity to go higher, inspired and empowered those who attended the expo. Salon professionals left revived, motivated and ready to head back to their salons and business to continue creating and re-engage with their clients.
