“Slam Dunking” Fashion Show Supports Inner City Youth

Society Art Gallery – Even basketball moms know how to get their game on! Nikki Burnett, founder of Basketball Mom Apparel, Owner & Director of Society Art Gallery, an upscale private event venue located in the (West Loop) of Chicago, hosted her “Slam dunk” premier clothing and accessory line featuring Hooplyfe Apparel. This newfangled apparel was a smash hit the moment the sporty fashions ripped the runway. Publicist, Jennifer Day, owner of Daylight Media Corporation generated an outstanding, “Let’s give them something to talk about,” turn out. Both Tami Roman of the hit VH1 reality show Basketball Wives & Demi Lobo, Radio Personality, were the cleverly spirited hosts for the evening. Special thanks to Cortri Trotter Productions, Blake Martin Productions, and St. Claire Vodka for making the evening a complete hit.

Nikki Burnett was in search for a stylish look when attending her son’s sporting events. Nikki tapped into her visionary side and discovered a positive, fun way to empower athletes in their youth and throughout their professional careers. She selected the motto “Support the Court,” which help fuel the Basketball Mom Apparel line in showing their appreciation while enriching mothers worldwide who stand behind their children athletically and academically. Nikki, determined to make a difference, is also an advocate for many charitable campaigns; Cancer Research, Autism and Violence Preventions.Hooplyfe Apparel is a full fashionable apparel and accessory line; retail sweat suites, athletic shorts, hoodies, T-shirts, and undergarments. This clothing line is not just for athletes, but for those who enjoy the game as well. Being the CEO of Basketball Mom Apparel, Nikki made it her mission to incorporate substance within her corporation by assisting with funding for inner city youth. A portion of her proceeds will harness basketball camps, tournaments and other related programs while helping to build leadership, sportsmanship, character, dedication and healthy competiveness.Making a difference first starts at home and the creative, talented, charitable advocate Nikki Burnett did just that.
